To be able to recognize the devil’s attack, hold onto 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Resist the devil before he feeds your mind with lies, fear, and discouragement. “
The devil is a liar and the father of all liars. He has carefully studied us and knows exactly when to attack us. Here is my question, how long have you studied the devil? For you to be able to beat the devil by all his games and tricks you need the fullness of Christ in you.
To be able to recognize an enemy attack and that of the devil’, you should first renew your minds. You never have to put up to the devil’s negative thoughts pushed into your minds daily. Our minds are a battlefield and when not put under control, it will ruin everything in our lives. If you must sower like an eagle either in your marriage, business, health-wise, and many more.
Learn to lay all your burden at the feet of Jesus. Be willing to give up everything that weighs you down. When you try to please everyone or even impress them, you will end up impressing no one rather it will end up disappointing you. Every day is a rebirth of our lives, so forgetting all that happened yesterday or in the past will help you see every attack of the devil.
In the world today lots of people especially women, have lost their dignity just because men of God told them they can never get married or have children. Instead of them going before the Lord in prayers, they are exploited by their false men of God.
These false teachers make them believe that they are under the attack of the devil and such devils are members of their family. Lots of homes and marriages have been ruined today just because people believe that the devil is from their family. Don’t get me wrong there are troubles in every family, but at the rate, these false preachers elaborate some issues have become more devilish than the devil himself.
Here Are Some Tips On How To Recognize The Devil’s Attack
1. Build Your Mind On The Word of God- An idle mind is the devil’s workshop. If your mind is empty of the love and kindness of Christ there is every probability for the devil to come and plant a seed of discouragement. 2 Corinthians 10:5.
2. Get Rid Of Fear- Fear is the number one tool the devil uses to attack people. When we become scared of what might happen to us in the future, our marriage, and many more. The more we capitalize on it the more the devil attacks. He uses our mind and imagination to elaborate fear until sometimes we can no longer function. Mattew 10:26.
3. Suspicion- This is what most false teachers use today to exploit their members. Most people have been manipulated into believing that their stress, lack of money, and lack of progress come as a result of their household ancestors. They make their followers suspicious of every move in their family by turning their attention away from the real truth and focusing their attention on the main shadows. The devil is very smart and false preachers have taken over one of his tools to exploit their followers.
Here are some verses to help you recognized the devil’s attacks.
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
James 1:14 “But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his desire.“
Ephesians 4:27 “And give no opportunity to the devil.“
2 Corinthians 2:11 “So that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.“
