Holding on to unforgiveness is like you taking a poisonous substance and expecting some else to die from it. Unforgiveness is a deadly weapon that can hinder your life forever if not dealt with immediately. Below are some tips why you must let go of that thing or persons that have hurt you in the past.

1. Let go of the past

Letting go of the past is not stupidity. But it is a means to free yourself from every guilt of the past, thereby freeing your self from every stagnation of life. If you want to be free from stagnation, and want to be totally liberated, then there is every need to let go of the past hurt even the present.

2. Be in the mood of forgiveness all the time

Prepare yourself always to forgive people, by so doing there will never be anything like be taken unaware. You cannot help it, the world is full of people that will hurt you at one time or another. Getting yourself prepare means you will never get hurt by what people do or say to you to the extent of been down.

3. Free that space

If you want to live in abundance, learn to free that unforgiveness space in your heart. It is not by having a perfect life, a big house, cars or the best marriage or even kids. It is all about you be able to forgive others no matter what they have done to you. When you learn to free that negative space of unforgiveness and replacing it with positive action and love, people will begin to see the best of you. You will discover for yourself how rich you are and how talented you are.

4. Release that person

Turn to the word of God as your guide. When you hold anyone down by the spirit of unforgiveness, you will likewise not be forgiven by God. Take for example you are holding a person head down by pressing him or her head down, you will also be hindered. You can not move or function. You will be just in the same position as the one you are holding down. So learn to release anyone that has ever hurt you in the past, let them go and you will begin to enjoy your freedom.

5. Let God be the one to mentor you through His word

When you have a mentor in your life, you will be directed on how to live and how you can forgive people that have hurt you. God is ever-present in the time of pain, black or white in our lives. All you need is to invite him into your life and accept him as your Lord and personal Saviour he will be willing to guide your heart and mind so that the devil will not have asses by filling that empty space with bitterness and unforgiveness.

If you have anything to do with the spirit of unforgiveness. Deal with it today with the above tips and your life will never be the same.
