Are you feeling trapped or are you happy with your life? Lots of people are not satisfied with their lives and most of them blame it on their past and what is happening around the world. Every one of us has the power to change our lives by simply changing our mindset.
Below are some tips to help you get out of that trapped life.
- Know You Have The Power To Change Your Life
You become whatever you think about. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT.
The way you think, dress and carry yourself will determine the way you see the world. So choosing the positive side of life will give you the power to get out of trapped feelings and enable you to see the negativity of life. Whatever you think of yourself will become your reality. So choose wisely.
2. Follow Your Passion
No one knows you better than you. God created you and gave you a purpose, so you know what you are passionate about, so that is the direction you should be following. No matter what stage of life you are in right now, you can still turn that around by genuinely accepting your purpose and following it. You might be in a job that you are not passionate about, find a way out. It might be that you have extra time after work learning new skills to be able to get your dream job someday.
3. Learn To Overcome The Fear Of Failure
Learn never to allow the fear of failure holds you back from following your passion. Fear is like a self-imprisonment that hold people back when trying to follow their passion. Be determined to take the risk. When you fail do it again and again till you see results.
4. Live a Healthy Life
Lots of people are trapped when they no longer can do the things they use to do. It might be to overweight by eating unhealthy food. Maybe they lost their sleep due to overthinking and worries about life. No matter what it is eating healthy should be a lifestyle of everyone looking to get out of trapped feelings. Drink lots of water instead of having too much coffee. Eat lots of vegetables and rest enough. Go for a walk if you cannot afford a gym membership. Go to YouTube look for exercises. All these will enable you to be proactive in life.
5. Live a Lifestyle You Can Afford
Living above your means is the most stressful thing you can think of. Many people spend more of what they earn. They are stressed out each month trying to make ends meet. Yes, it is very important to treat yourself and have nice things. But before you buy anything ask yourself a few questions.
a. What things do l need?
b. Is it worth buying?
c. What benefit will it bring to me?
Try to fix your budget for the month and live with that budget. And learn to spend money on experiences that add value to your life and your passion, because that is what will bring you to a place of contentment not buying objects that are not needed.
