If you want to become successful in life, you have to discipline yourself. Lots of people take motivation to be the engine behind successful people. Sorry to disappoint you.
Yes! Being motivated is good, but it might be a little, percent of what makes people succeed in life.
Lots of people can easily be encouraged by motivational messages or books. It can also be what they see, hear, read and follow on social media. And that can be someone they came across believing to have all the qualities they want and tips on how to achieve them. It can also be that book one of their role models recommended for them.
They purchase the book, read it, and get inspired by it. They subscribe to top channels and attendant webinars. Then along the way, they hit failure and lose interest and, they become discouraged when they don’t see the result or make money as expected and quit just like other things they have tried. Now it becomes clear that it wasn’t motivation they need but discipline and focus.
To become successful in what you do. Discipline yourself seriously. You can be motivated, but when you don’t plan and work hard on becoming a disciplined person, you might give up before you even see any result.
Those models you follow or that inspire you worked hard for about 5-10 years. One of their tools is discipline, persistence, determination, consistency, focus, and allowing themselves to enjoy the flow.
They know what they want, so they allow themselves to push past the mockery and humiliation that comes with failure. Making money is not their priority not because they don’t like money, but because they believe in working hard to master what they do. Then success and financial breakthrough will follow. But what we see today is the generation of people who run after every shining object they come across on social media and want to imitate them.
In conclusion, discipline is the foundation to become successful. It’s what will keep you at the top when every other person quits. Don’t focus on money but discipline yourself, work hard, and remain focused. Learn to endure and believe that God will lead you through when your hope and faith are lost.
