Are you stressed? Are so worried and busy trying to plan for the future and thereby reducing the present trying to get to the future?
One thing you must know is, trying to be in the future will cause you stress and sadness. That is like being here and wanting to be there and being in the present but wanting to be in the future. This kind of lifestyle will split you up and constantly tear you apart.
Do you feel that the past pain of your life is taking your present attention? Or do you still see yourself talking about your past with pain or comfortably sharing it to help others out? When you still tell your past with so much negativity and pain or revenge, then there is a problem.
This is what you have to do. You need to die to the past hurt. You do not need all the past drama in your present unless you are using the lessons learned from it to help others.
Learn to feel the power of now.
This moment is what you have, use it wisely. Learn to become aware of your presence sometimes by just feeling your breath and let it flow. Ask yourself frequently that the problems you have now are what you have to deal with and the ones that might come tomorrow will be taken care of.
In whatever we do in life, when we learn to put God first, there will never be room for past hurt because living the life of gratitude will help you live in the moment trusting God to take care of your tomorrow problems.
