I want to talk to today about how to find joy again in life. You might think there will never be joy and happiness again in life. To encourage you, please read this blog till the end to understand why there is hope.
The woman with the issue of blood in (Luke 8:43-48) thought she would not be healed of her illness because she tried different physicians but to no avail.
She was in so much agony and shame, but one day, she heard that Jesus was coming to her town, so she got prepared, and when Jesus finally came passing by, it was time for her to prove to others that she can be happy again. She pressed her way through the crowd to touch the hem of Jesus’s garment and got instant healing and joy.
The story of Naomi in (Ruth 1:20) is another life lesson that shows that joy comes in the morning.
Naomi has given up on life because of the death of her husband and two sons, so she packed her things and returned to her homeland, but on her way, people recognized her and called her by her name, Naomi, she immediately rebuked them by saying, do not call me Naomi, but Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter. But in (Ruth 4:1418) Her story changed when she got a good news
The woman said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.”
Then Naomi took the child in her arms and cared for him. The woman living there said, Naomi has a son! And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.
God never gives up on you, so why should you? Keep on believing, that there will eventually be a light at the end of the tunnel. Have faith that all will become good again.
If you start spending time on the word of God, that heaviness of the heart will become lighter and so disappear because, in the word of God, there are lots of messages of hope.
The man at the pool of Bethesda never gave up hope, he chose to believe that he will be happy again. So God directed Jesus to his path on that faithful day, and he got his healing after waiting for 38 years.
Life is unbearable when you give up the hope that you will be happy again, but it will become easier when you believe, that God can change your situation for the better.
