What is that thing or dream you want to achieve? Are you ready to fight for it? Are you ready to work hard using the spirit of determination and persistence to get what you want? If yes go for it be bold to ask and never allow anyone to distract you from attaining your goal.

Remember one thing, when you are on the road to success and your purpose in life, people will distract you, if they cannot succeed, they will wait to see how far you will go.

From our previous story from the book of 2 Kings 2:1-22, after Elijah was taken to heaven by God. Elisha requested the double anointing of Elijah and he got what he requested for. ”As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two. Elisha then picked up Elijah’s mantle that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan

1. Be a good student

Elisha took the mantle and went back, but there was another obstacle, the master is gone and he needed to face the battle himself because he was a good student, who was always learning, he followed the same principle, which he has gotten from his master Elijah, he smote the mantle on the river and immediately the river Judah parted and he crossed to the other side.

2. Recognize your helper of destiny

In life there is time to be alone, so you can experiment whatever you have learned, don’t give up on the verge of your breakthrough. One thing is sure in life, God will not come down directly to help you. God will always send someone to help you, it is left for you to recognize that person that has been sent into your life to help you. It might be a course you need to follow, concerning your business, mandate or carrier.

3. Your enemies will celebrate you

When Elisha crossed to the other side, the sons of the prophet, who mocked him to see how far he will go, were still waiting for him. But when they saw him they were surprised to see the new level he has attained. They said to one another, surely the spirit of Elijah is upon him.

4. Your light will shine

The very people that tried talking him out of his dream were the very one that came celebrating him and worshiping him they even requested for his help. The Bible made us understand in 2 kings 2:21 ”Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.  And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.

5. Prayer

You shall be celebrated, by the very same people that mocked you in Jesus’ name. Your enemies will bow down to you, you will be the master over them.
