Are you rating the power of God based on the altar of your pastor, prophets, or prophetess? Or are you rating the power of God by who he is and how faithful you are to Him? Is your faith in God or your men of God? When David in the Bible was to face Goliath, he never talked about how dangerous Goliath was, but he boasted and talked about how great and powerful God is.

But what we see now is some preachers who go about boasting about how powerful their altar is and how dangerous it is. Galatians 3, Paul speaks about those who have been bewitched by what they hear.

In life, when situations seem to overwhelm you, do not talk about fear, but talk about faith. Talk about how powerful God is and how he is more than able to defeat your enemies. No matter how hard you think your problem is, there will always be a way out only if you know who God is and how strong your connection is with him.

Most people go to church today to join others in fellowship but are not in communion with God. They go just to be noticed and show off their new clothes and hairstyle. Most churches today have become like a disco hall where all manner of actions takes place.

When you look at the rate of how churches are increasing, if you are rooted in the true gospel, you might fall into the very trap of false teachers who do nothing other than boast about their achievements and talk about all their designer clothes and shoes. 1 Corinthians 4:20 says For the kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.

Most preachers today prophecy lies to their followers and paint themselves as more powerful than God. The book of Matthew 22:29 says, Jesus replied, your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God

God is all-powerful. His ways are not the ways of men and, he can never fail. Whatever He says, he will do. “The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.”1 Corinthians 1:18

To be able to know how powerful God is. Go into a personal relationship with him. Do this by reading the Word of God and waiting patiently, for him to speak to you. Likewise, when you come across situations that seem so difficult in the eyes of men. Call on Him and, He will turn that impossibility to making it possible.

Psalm 147:4-5 “He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.

Learn to spend time with God and, you will see that God is all-powerful and will never share his glory with anyone.
