It is often said that you’re the product of the five people you spend the most time with. So it’s a must to check if any one of the five is toxic because this might just be holding you back without knowing it and also might be disrupting your peace.

People are supposed to inspire people. But it’s a fact that people also can inspire you or drain you- so you must be ready to pick your friends wisely.

Sometimes toxic people don’t know about their character while in most cases they are aware of it. Toxic people know how to push others around, just to get them upset. They get sort of satisfaction from it and they are happy to see others fail. It is important to learn how to deal with this set of people because toxic people are not worth your energy. They leave you with stress and sometimes low self-esteem.

Here Are 5 Toxic People To Avoid

• The Dementor

These are set of people who love to feed on people’s happiness and peace. When they come around the whole place gets dark. They are full of negative words and energy. Though they pretend to be a helper, their mission is to destroy one’s joy and peace and leave their victim with nothing but fear and trauma. In most cases, they isolate their victims from every other person that might be of help to them.

Dementor is mostly found in most of the churches today where false preachers suck out life out of their followers who are in desperate need of help. They prophesy falsely to them and make them chase after shadows. These followers who have come to believe every lie that comes from the false preacher will find it difficult to see the truth when others try to save them from dementors. These kind of people can also be among your friend’s circle and family members. Be wise to choose and be very calculative to avoid such people.

• Jealous Or Envious People

Having to spend too much time around jealous and envious people is very dangerous because they influence you to turn away from your uniqueness. Their envious spirit will lead them not to see good in what you do. This kind of person is commonly found among those you call friends. They pretend to love you, but will never support you in what you do. Don’t be bothered about them, rather avoid them and keep your focus on what you love to do. 

• The Manipulators

These are people who call themselves your friends, pastors, prophets, even some family members. They are not your friends but are out to suck the life out of you. They come in a tricky way, by doing things they know you like. They are ready to make you laugh even go as far as to sing praises for you, but their real agenda is to drain you of your energy. They use every piece of information given to them for their hidden agenda

Manipulations always want to get from you, they present before you problems they think you have and they get the chance to dry up your energy by exploiting you. Again these kind of people are commonly found among false preachers. Almost anywhere you look today, there are different kinds of preachers with funny names. They manipulate their followers and, pay hugely to advertised their fake miracles. If you are not careful, you can be deceived and tell them all your problems, then the manipulating acts begin. Be wise to choose who you run after all in the name of miracles. Freely Christ has given to us and freely He wants us to receive. 

• The Twisted Kind Of People

The world would have been a better place if everyone learns to appreciate and respect others’ uniqueness. There are kinds of people, who are toxic and their only intention is to see others fail. Their deriving intention is to see others cry and miserable. Their joy is complete when people come to them and cry. The twisted kind of people do not have your interest at heart, rather all they need is to have all attention to themselves. But no worries, because the good news is, you can easily spot these sets of people, and that makes it easy to avoid them.

• Only Me Kind Of People

These are self-absorbed people. It’s all about them, they are ready to bring you down by their way of lonely lifestyle. Nothing interests them. These sets of people can be spotted when you hang around them, they don’t care about you, you feel lonely whenever you are around them. They see no reason why they should hang around people and have a connection with them.

It’s a pity that most companies and churches today operate in this aspect. I happen to work in a place that we are told not to have bound with the clients. These are old people who need care and attention, but we were not allowed to be bound. ”just do your job and go”. It has brought lots of trauma to people at least I speak for myself. But thank God for the light in me, that has brought me this far in life.
