5 Helpful Bible Verses During Tough Time!

There will be moments in our lives when it seemed like everything is working against us. There will be times when you must have tried all you know but still no result or way out. It can even be, seeing a friend in pain and not knowing how to help out.

I understand and, it can be frustrating. I used to think that there is nothing to do about such moments until I found my way into the very heart of Christ. Reading the Word of God has helped me tremendously in overcoming bad moods and tapping daily into the promises of God, which have been made available for all of us.

People call me for counseling and advice, not because I am a professional or a preacher, but because grace found me. Know that the grace of God and the glory of God supersedes all the plans of the enemies. Here are some wonderful Bible verses to help you out in times of difficulty.

God is a lovely father that has promised never to leave non-forsake any of us irrespective of our standing with him. In the book of

1 Peter 5:7 ”Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you”.

Know that in times of difficulties when you do not know what to do. Take everything to God in your prayers and leave all your worries at the feet of Jesus. He is more than able to handle that issue and bring you out victoriously.

Deuteronomy 31:6 ”Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

When you take a closer look at the above verse, there is something powerful about it. The Lord is reminding us of his promises over our lives that we should not be afraid of the enemy. And that might be that fear of going after that dream or trying to overcome humiliation or overcoming that failure in marriage. Do not be scared because God is great in his plan and His plan for you is to bring you to that perfect end.

Psalm 32:7-8 ”Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes”. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret it leads only to evil.

There are times when it seemed that the burden is too much for you to bear. In that season, be quiet and still. Go before the Lord, with praise and worship. Listen to what He has to say to you. And no matter who has offended you let go of that anger so that God will have a clean heart free of unforgiveness to perfect his work on you.

Psalm 52:5-8 ”Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
