Prophecy is defined as a prediction of what will happen in the future, it’s an inspired utterance of a prophet, the prophets of old, heard clearly from God, and they were the mouthpiece of God, to either warn the people to change from their evil ways so that destruction will not befall them, they can also be directed by God to deliver a message of prosperity.
Now, the story has changed with this modern-day Christianity were false prophets turn the Word of God upside down to suit them. All they do is prophesy to people, who are very vulnerable, and scared. They are been manipulated to do what these false prophets instruct them to do.
Who are the false prophets? These are men who are too lazy to work for their money, instead, they look for a way to dupe the victims of their hard-earned money.
There was an incident that happened in the place l used to fellowship this so-called prophet demanded that a friend of mine pay a painful sacrifice before her daughter will be prayed for, l was been pressurized, by the wife of the prophet to convince my friend in paying the sacrifice I was so worried that l refused to pass the message to my friend rather l prayed with her and gave her a scripture. Isaiah 53:5. by His wounds, we are healed.
The next Sunday, l heard the prophet preaching and saying that someone dropped fifty euros as a painful seed and believed that God will heal her daughter, that until she does what was requested of her, no prayers for the child. Hummmmm!
Days later my friend’s daughter was discharged from the hospital without prayer from the false prophet. when l was told about it all l could do is thank the Lord for not disappointing His children. When we cry to God, with all our problems surely He will hear us, God is not demanding money from us, rather Jesus told us to help people in need and preach the message of peace.
From what happened to my friend l needed, no one to convince me, that these false prophets turn the true gospel into lies they have twisted the Word of to suit them, and they always get to people, who are ignorant of the Word of God these so-called false prophets have no light in them, the hand of God has left them so there is no way they will be able to bless their followers.
These false prophets, have the behaviors that make them look Godly, by parading themselves as angels of light but they are sheep in wolf clothing they are seriously doing what God has warned them not to do, their mission is simple, they believe in the now and here richness they are never bothered about the end. And because they know deep down in them that they are doomed, so they are so much in a hurry to take as many with them to hellfire.
So in conclusion, any man of God, that puts pressure on you to pay a painful sacrifice, is a thief be careful not to fall for their scam rather, help yourself by constantly studying the Word of God to show yourself approved.
