Time to Stop Investing in the Wrong People!

Take care of yourself and stop investing in the wrong people. It is okay to help people but never forget to take care of yourself. People with manipulative motives are everywhere. These are the kinds of people who come to you because of what they can get.

They smile and pretend they care, but they don’t like you. Investing yourself in the wrong people will leave you broken. They break you into pieces and turn you apart. If you’re not careful, you might find it difficult to pick yourself together. But if you do, it might also take years to get back on your feet.

Invest in you. Love you and take time to rest. This world is full of uncertainties. Don’t get me wrong when I say, when you take care of yourself and learn to set boundaries when manipulators and self-centered people appear they will be surprised to find you prepared. They will see that they will not be able to take advantage of your good heart. Remember, you are loved, and Jesus loves you more.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. ( Hebrews 4:16)
