Stop Giving Out Your Power Part 1!

Stop giving out your power. Many people give their power out without realizing it. Many times giving out your power happens so freely like saying YES when you need to say NO. This is as a result of trying to please people to be comfortable with them. It might be in that relationship congregations jobs marriage even hanging around toxic friends all because of not knowing how to set boundaries you hand over your power to them.

I use to be a big fan of giving my power out, but I now know how dangerous it is that is why I am writing this blog.

To be able to have control and to navigate through life at ease can be achieved. You don’t need to wait for it to come to you but must be willing and ready to empower yourself to get out of that powerless situation.

In the book of 2, Timothy 1:7 says For God has not given us a spirit of timidity but power and love and discipline.

From the above verse, you will agree with me that you will never have to give your power out to gain people’s approval. You are complete and should be happy for who you are.

1 Corinthians 2:5,” says so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but the power of God.”

Whenever you give your power out to others, you have reduced your ability to grow and to be grateful for who you are.
Whatever you need in life has been given to you by God trust God and follow his direction.

Here is the issue, most people spend 80% of their time in concerns, meaning the problems surrounding them, like all the distractions on social media gist, running from church to church seeking miracles and wonders, blaming the economy for their problems.

While some people, especially women, give their power out to abusive relationships and marriage. All these concerns will gradually start to drain you if not corrected immediately.

When you spend 80% on negative news or negative energy you will be left with only 20% to utilize on positivity.

Here is what you must do to gain your power back

Learn to re-direct your energy back to the things that can improve you. It will not be a day job, but the more you learn to hold on to your power, the closer it will become to owe your power. Learn to say No without an apology.

Please feel free to share this post with your friends and loved ones. Watch out for ways to get your power back!

Remember, I’m your sister in Christ.

Love you

Remain blessed.
