Talking too much has crumbled lots of people, especially women who exposed their secrets before it gets ripe. You don’t have to expose everything in your life to anyone. Learn to wait for the perfect time, then when you speak, you speak from the place of evidence to your story.

Know some pieces of information are not met for the public, so you must learn to keep quiet.

Some people don’t know how to keep their secrets to themselves. So if they have a headache, the whole extended family will hear of it. The book of Psalm 141:3 says Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. In the book of proverbs, 15:23 says A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how is it!  This indicates that we ought to shut our mouths and never try to impress anyone with your talking but, in the due season, your success story will speak out for you.

This type of attitude is found in most churches today, where believers have sown themselves to their prophets and prophetess. They no longer have secrets. They have taken it upon themselves to tell all their secrets to their men of God. They even went as far as telling their men of God how they had fun with their partner. These false preachers will come to the pulpit and use the same words they have heard to prophesy to them and exploit them. Lots of homes and marriages have been shattered just because some people don’t know how to shut the door of their mouth.

Some women today cannot keep their secrets, with every little thing they pick the phone to tell the story of their latest boyfriend. That friend might be sincere, but why not wait to see the result or the outcome of that relationship before you spread the news. Never forget that human beings are full of jealousy, those that you are telling your story and testimony might not wish you well, so when that relationship doesn’t work out, you will become ashamed.

Here is a world of advice from the book of Proverbs 13:3 The one who guards his words guards his life, but whoever is talkative will come to ruin.
