Learn Not To Be a Prisoner Of Your Past!

What hinders lots of people in life is they imprison themselves in their past. They never let go of whatever happened to them in the past. So they are easily pulled down by the storm of life. Until you know that whatever that happened to us in the past is just a lesson, learn from it and move on.

Likewise, many people allow others to pull them into their storm by constantly reminding them of their past or referring to their past hurt. Here is what you must-do if you want to live and fulfill your assignment on earth, never allow people to pull you into their storm or past hurt without telling you the lessons they learned from it.

Anything that happens has a lesson in it. Are you still holding onto past hurt other than letting God take over? If yes, you are indirectly saying that you are better than God. God is our father He will never leave us non forsake us. 1 Kings 8:57.

Lots, of people, hold onto the things God doesn’t want to in their life, by constantly pouring their past into their present, and that is destructive. They imagine the way it might have been if not for what happened. Let go rather be grateful to God who knows the heart of men. He will bring you to that perfect end, only if you allow him to come in.
Let your peace be found in Christ, and let Christ be the hope of all glory in your life.

Here are some helpful Bible verses to pull you out of past hurts and gain peace in Christ Jesus

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your understanding.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it fear.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
