God Finishes what He starts

Do you sometimes feel as though you aren’t making enough progress inthe healing process? Maybe you are going through heartbreak, and everything seems so dark, and it feels like your spiritual life is also under attack?

I want to encourage you that when God starts a project in your life, He will also complete it. You might be wondering why things don’t turn out the way you want. This is because our way is not God’s way. God will help you grow in grace. God will help you go through that hard situation if you hold onto Him. He will help you get through those discouraging moments and complete that original project he has marked out for you.

There have been so many seasons in my life where l felt like giving up, but when I remember God’s promises for me, I kept pushing on. Even when I felt like losing my mind, God kept holding my hands and ordering my steps. He can do the same for you if you believe.

I have watched others give testimonies about their relationships. How God uplifted them, but here I am going through different rough stages of betrayal, cheating, and manipulation. I am wondering what I ever did wrong to attract only deceptive men.

I cried so many times because of brokenness, but now I know that when facing challenges, it’s never because God wants us to suffer, but sometimes because of our poor choices. But in all our mistakes, God promised never to leave nor forsake us. So, when you feel incomplete and lonely, or not being appreciated in your relationship, don’t give up. Always remember that God’s promises and provision will never be taken away from you.

Here are some Bible verses that will help you go through that brokenness and strengthen your heart.

Psalm 51:17

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Psalm 147

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 54:11

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

Isaiah 54:14

In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.

A Simple Prayer

Thank you, God, that you are always with me. Even when it seems all is dark, you never leave me, nor forsake me.

Thank you, God, that in my brokenness, you continually held my hands and pulled me out of the pit of betrayal.Thank you, God, for strengthening me through the dark moments of life. Through that season that almost took my life. You pulled me out and placed me in a safe place.

Your grace and mercy remind me of how much you love me. Your promises and your closeness to the brokenhearted make all the difference in my life. I experience comfort and peace when I dwell in your presence. Thank you, Jesus, for your overflowing love. Amen.
