When you hear the word fear, think about it as a feeling or an emotion. When we are afraid, it means you are scared of the unknown. It’s a form of sensing danger, and your body responds because it’s a way of protecting yourself.
But until you know and accept that the word FEAR represents FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL! You might continue to live and operate with fear.
Let’s take a look at the meaning of SHAME!
Shame is defined or seen as a painful feeling of humiliation or distress that normally, comes to you by consciously reminding yourselves of your wrongdoing or shame brought to you by other people.
It’s a feeling of guilt, regret and leads to embarrassment.
In the book of Proverbs, 29:25 ”Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe”.
Do you agree that from the definition of fear and shame, until you change the way you think you might end up recycling your experiences? It means you will be afraid to move on in life, and that will get you stuck.
These two words, called fear and shame, have made some women scared of the unknown and unseen. Come out of that shame, fear, regrets and stop putting all the blame on yourself as we all know it takes two to tangle and know for sure whatever God has not planted in your life, He will remove from your life.
When situations arise in your life, don’t be quick to affirm negative words on yourself. Be careful because your word can either make or break you.
Words like I’m not good enough
It was all my fault
No man wants me
I’m worthless
I hate myself
I’m a failure etc
Never make the mistake of underestimating yourself. I love this quote from Julia Soul ”If you are never scared, embarrassed, or hurt, it means you never take chances.”
In the book of Proverbs 18:21, ”A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled”.
I love to use the illustration of the washing machine to illustrate the problems of life.
In life, problems are like the washing machine, which when set on motion twist, spin, knock us around, but in the end, we come out cleaner and wiser, brighter, and even smarter than before.
Think about the above illustration, so that when next you think of fear and shame. Learn to take the lessons out of every problem and make it your strength and ladder to your success.
If I can do it, you will definitely can!
Please feel free to share this post with your friends and loved ones.
Remember, I’m your sister in Christ.
Love you
Remain blessed.
