As an obedient child of God, you will know when the right person comes into your life. If you are faithful and patient, God will show you signs that he is the right person for you. How do you recognize him? Are there any divine signs that can guide a woman in identifying the right man for her?
Living with the wrong partner can become hell, and it’s not something to be taken lightly. It can lead to stress and lack of peace, and when it becomes unbearable, it can ruin your life and even people who look up to you.
To be in love is like taking a ride into an unknown world. Where you either discover treasures or pain and disappointment. Love is a journey, and just like every journey, you have to know the right path to travel. You want to be comfortable in that journey and guide your peace. But you need to find out if that man is sent to you by God.
Here are some signs from the Bible to know if he is sent by God for you.
1. He Controls his words
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit (John 3:34)
The right man sent by God speaks words of wisdom. Listen carefully to what he says and what he meant by them. Are his words in alignment with God’s words and what He teaches us? A Godly man does know how to use words. So if you must find out about a godly man sent by God for you, you need to have full knowledge of God’s word yourself because God’s word is peace, truth, patience, kindness, and love. A man that speaks hasty and unkind cannot be sent to you by God. As a child of God, God wants the best for you, so He will send you the right man who will love and cherish you even in words.
2. He helps build your character and not to corrupts it
(1 Corinthians 15:33) Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
God will never send a man into your life that will destroy your good habits. He provides you with someone who will bring out the best in character and attitude. Someone who will inspire and motivate you in words and actions.
A man who wants to see you both grow together in God’s word. He influences you positively and encourages you to do the same for others. But when he is out to destroy your good character and behavior, it’s a sign that he wasn’t sent for you.
3. He possesses the fruit of the Spirit.
But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness… (Galatian 5:22-23)
A man sent by God for you will possess the fruit of the spirit. He knows how to handle issues. He is full of wisdom when speaking and slows to anger. He will not allow issues escalates in his home, because he knows the right place to go and how to solve issues.
4. He is truthful in his dealings with you.
The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in trustworthy people. (Proverbs 12:22)
God will never send someone that lies to you. God hates lies. When a man begins to lie, he has sold his soul out. He has allowed the manipulating words of the adversary to take over him. So know that as a child of God, you will always discover the lying tongue of a man, either in courtship or in marriage. Be on the look, for this sign because it’s the most common one.
5. He loves and respects you.
Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered. (1 Peter 3:7)
A man sent by God will always love and respect you. he will never want to put you in shame. He guides you and protects you from an outsider that might harm or intimidate you. He is always proud of you and can’t wait to introduce you to people.
In Conclusion
God loves you, and he wants the best for you. But He needs you to pay close attention to His voice when he speaks to you. He wants you to look out for signs that he is sending through your spirit, in finding the rightful person. So, be careful of your shortcomings. Avoid the rush and hasty determination. When God sends the right one your way, He will love you and bear your pain and burden. He will believe in you. Your hope becomes his hope, and he will endure all things with you.
