Failures always come with lessons, but those lessons are not always obvious. When you fail, it is not enough to lament your failure; you must look back over the circumstances that led to the failure. ask yourself, Why did it happen? How did it happen? What were the significant factors involved? What are the lessons for me?

The first rule is to avoid repeating the failure, but I have failed at keeping this rule many times. I have learned to recognize when I am being blind to the facts, defensive, and refusing to see and accept the obvious. that is a bad way to fail. To fail correctly is to accept that things have not turned out the way we expected or planned. The important thing is to use failures as learning experiences to continue to improve and grow.

Failure is not the end of the road; it is an opportunity to begin again but with more wisdom and insight. it may involve taking a new direction. at least then, we will know what roads are dead ends and which ones might lead to new possibilities. Do not waste time and energy on dead ends. You are not born a failure or a loser, think of it this way: FAIL means “First Attempt In Learning,” END means “Effort Never Dies,’’ and NO means “Next Opportunity.” When things do not turn out as you expected, it won’t be the last time you fail. But when you fail or fall, do not give up on yourself. God does not give up on you. when we give up on ourself that is when depression is set in.

It is important to comprehend what depression is. Depression doesn’t just affect the mind, it affects the body as well. The reduction of serotonin in the brain is a common result of prolonged feelings of stress and anxiety. The reduction in serotonin levels then becomes a physical cause for further depression. Drugs typically prescribed for depression work by increasing the amount of serotonin in the brain. Natural serotonin raising methods do exist. Stimulants can depress serotonin activity, so it is wise to avoid them when possible. Furthermore, adequate rest and exercise will help you recover from stress quickly.

When you are fighting against depression, try to reduce your stress level as much as possible. Stress will worsen and prolong depression. You need to examine your life and determine what is stressing you out. When you have identified your stressors, you will be better able to address them and minimize them, or even conquer them.
