Don’t form the habit of spending your time and energy trying to make others happy. Know, that it’s the heart that matters.

In the book of John 2:23-25 it says “Now, while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.“

Do you know that our conscience is our inner compass? Lots of people have wasted their time trying to impress people and trying to make them like them. Know for sure that not everyone will like you because they have their perception of you. It is the fact of life.

In life, you must know that each one has their opinions because it will enable you to be freer and help you focus on the important things of life. As a believer, know that God will always bring the right people into your life. So never be sad when certain people dispersed you, so stop spending your time and energy trying to make them like and approve what you do.

Allowing your conscience to be your guiding light is the right way to start focusing on yourself instead of others. I was in the same situation, where I depended on people’s perception of me. I felt I was never complete unless other people gave me their opinions.

If people in your life care about you, they will look for you and if they love you they will make every effort to show it. Today it’s a different ball game. I do what I enjoy and learn to focus on my vision. Writing this blog is one of my achievements.

What destroys lots of people today, is they are so determined to make others happy and thereby forgetting themselves and the reason they are here on earth.
The secret of failure is trying to please everyone. Some of those people you are dying to please will never allow you into their groups because they see you as a threat to them, so they make every effort to avoid you.

When you notice this, look into your conscience because such people may have seen God’s aglow in your life and maybe disturbed by it. They may even be trying to pull you down, but because you are in Christ, he is the hope of glory in you. No matter how they try, they will never succeed.

Move on because it is better to have just one person in your life that understands and values you than hanging around falsehood. Learn to focus on your path and goal.

My prayer for you is, as David did, you will triumph over every Goliath in your life! Like Nehemiah, you will complete every broken wall the enemies have brought down in your life and, like Joshua, you will overcome huge obstacles. Why? Because God is not a man, so he can never lie. His promises are forever yours.
