Most people are held back in life, just because they refused to let go of what must have happened to them in the past. So long they hold onto it, It develops into a barrier that hinders them whenever they reflect on it. To be able to overcome fear, disappointment, discouragement, trauma, is never to look for sanctuary in anyone except yourself.
Likewise to be able to see progress in whatever we do is to let go of what might be the stumbling block to our success.
When you look around today, you will find out that only those that are ready to pay the price are also seeing the result in what they do. Are you holding onto failure or the habit of not rising after a fall? If you must progress, there is also a price to be paid. The hardest thing to accept in life is to realize that we are the first enemy of our success. Most people hold onto past mistakes as an excuse not to succeed.
I used to blame everyone for my failures. I thought they were the ones holding me back. That even led me into a church I thought was for Christ. I was searching for the solution to my problems, and I was exploited both financially and materially. The false prophet and his wife took advantage of my weakness and desperation.
The quest for a solution almost ruined my life. I was always capitalizing on the fact that I was abandoned at different times in my life, that it was the reason I was not seeing results in my life. The more I was told to sacrifice money the worse my case became.
Here is the fact, what we think of ourselves will reflect in what we do and how we see the world. We know that the hardest thing in life is letting go of what we thought was so real. Thank God who saved me and my family from such a church. Like that habit and negative thinking about ourselves, as we hold onto it as long as we want, it can also keep us from achieving what we want.
Life is a lesson, so everything about marriage, relationship, friendship, business, careers, are lessons we must pass. We must keep writing the exams and never quit until the exam is passed.
