Matthew 8:16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
After the baptism of Jesus Christ, he left Nazareth and dwelled in Capernaum, and in Matthew 4:13, Jesus started his ministry. He healed lots of people. He healed a leper man in Matthew 8:3 by touching him not, by slapping and hitting him or spinning him around as some false preachers do today. Jesus told the leper man, go, you are healed.
Lots of false preachers have succeeded in manipulating their followers that the only way for them to get healing is to pay money and come for a special healing service where after paying money before prayers are rendered to that person.
Jesus healed lots of people with words. He did not collect money from anyone but always brought to their remembrance that it is their faith and belief that get them their healings.
The centurion man that is servant was sick, Jesus wanted to go with him but, the man refused why because he has faith in Jesus and what he can do, Jesus was marveled by his faith and released a word of healing and, the servant, was healed the same hour. Matthew 8:6-10. What about the mother of Peter’s wife, who was sick with a fever. Jesus touched her and, she was made whole. One common thing with these healings is the people involved know their God, they have faith, hope, and belief and, they will end up healed.
Nowadays, what we see in churches especially, the ones headed by false teachers, is they have turned themselves into magicians and tax collectors who put price tags on miracles and healings. The biggest problem is they convinced their followers that the higher the amount of money they pay the, quicker their healings and miracles will manifest.
Lots of people have come to believe the lies of the false prophets, prophetess, teachers, and apostles and forget the one that came to die for the sins of the world and redeemed all for eternal life.
Until we all believe that it is not by the amount of money we pay that gets us our healings but our faith in the one who has done the finished work on the cross of Calvery.
Begin to work in alignment with the promises of God over your life. The first step is to renew your faith in him, accept him as your lord as personal. He said I have come to give your life and to have it in abundance. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed.
Until we come of the knowledge that Christ is the only one that can save and heal us, lots of people might continue to fall victims to these false teachers out there.
