1 John 4:1 ESV Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. A church is supposed to be a building where people come together in truth and in spirit to fellowship together in one accord.

But any building or people who practice otherwise, is practicing occultism. How do you differentiate a true church from the occultic church? Below are some signs to spot in an occultic church. Occultic churches are very manipulating, They always demand painful sacrifice and prophetic offerings.

Are you in a church where they make you believe that all problems must be solved, with a painful offering? They make you believe in their prophetic materials rather than believe in Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith.

They always preach the message of fear and will never encourage you to fellowship with other churches. But the true church of God will always preach to you how to live a holy life, bless and love others, encourage you to study the word of God and how to be more righteous they will preach the message of hope, and not condemnation.
