Dealing with Stress Pt 1

Stop doing what everyone is doing. Stop comparing yourself to others. Stay in your uniqueness and go after your talent because God has anointed you for it.
I became who I am today because I have seen God transforming me, and He will surely do the same for you.

I am Jane from JaneLibrated, and I am here to teach you how to become liberated. Freedom is my motto because l believe that God can heal you from every situation you might be facing. Let me start by asking you this question.

How far are you willing to fight for your peace?
I must remind you that to have a peaceful life, you must be willing to work hard for it. I have learned how to find peace in the midst of stress, but sometimes because I am human I miss it. I discovered that when I am stressed I overreact, and when I am trying to fix everything and everyone around me, I lose my peace.

I saw people doing their hair all by themselves, and l decided to make mine. But each time, I ended up having severe back and neck pain. So I decided to make an appointment to make it with someone else, but I got disappointed so many times.

So, on one of my trips to an African country, I cut my hair and it feels good now, and I am relieved of that stress.
My neck, and back don’t hurt anymore. I also got rid of my wigs because they usually give me a headache. I am free from that stress now. You can start by identifying what causes you stress and start by eliminating them one after the other. It was worth it.

What are the things that upset you? And how do you react to them?
Get a list of those things and learn to react to them positively. There are lots of encouraging verses in God’s word (Bible) that can help you get through stressful moments.

God is not a God of disorder but of peace… (1 Corinthians 14:33) Let your mind be at peace and ask God for help.
In James (4:1-2) What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have to because you do not ask God.
Most of the things that cause us stress are trying to have it all, and when it’s not working our way, we become so stressed out and beat ourselves up.

Look around you and see if other people’s problems cause you unrest. Do not try to satisfy everyone. Stop trying to fix everyone in your family. Stop trying to make everyone like you, because everyone will not like you.
Help as much as you can, but consider your peace too.
Give people space, because dealing with stress requires you to overlook certain things.
Pray for people and allow God to do the work. Your prayer will be more effective than the million speeches you give to them.

In conclusion, stay away, from stress because it kills slowly by eating up the vital organs. Hand over all to God, and He will surround you with everlasting peace (John 14:27).
