Lots of false prophets and preachers have succeeded in leaving people in confusion. Lots of the followers of these false preachers have come to believe that there is one demon and altars of their father’s house that has put them in bondage so that they will not prosper.
The same people have come to believe the lies of these false preachers that the reason they can not get married, give birth, or get sick is as a result of the altars of their father’s house. Their followers come to believe that their forefathers have sinned or have done lots of atrocities so they are to suffer for their sins.
So these false preachers manipulate their followers to continue to sow seeds and pay heavy sacrifices. These false prophets also make their followers give out their houses or even close down their accounts as is that is the only way they will be set free from the sins of their fathers.
The book of Ezekiel 18:20 made us understand that ”The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
With the above verse, We can boldly say that the soul that sinneth shall die. Why all the lies by false prophets and preachers. They made it so real that their followers are so afraid and confused. Their followers now begin to chase empty wind all their lives, and their problems keep on increasing and the more they are convinced to raise more sacrifices. These people follow the instruction of their prophets that their altars should never lack blood.
The question is, what God are they referring to? As we all know, the almighty God is not a vampire that demands blood all the time. God sent his only dear son Jesus to come and die for the sin of the world. He was crucified on the cross of Calvary and redeemed us all forever. All we need is to acknowledge him. Study the word of God, have a personal relationship with Him, and allow Him to direct your life.
Galatians 3:13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.
All you need is to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal savior. Until you begin to gain the knowledge that Christ has paid the price for your sins, you might continue to be ignorant and fall victim to those false preachers out there.
