Praise and worship are a means of communicating with the owner of the universe, and that is why it’s important, to know how to worship and praise God. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name. Psalm 66:4

Most believers today have deviated from worshipping God to sing all the praises to their preachers. Don’t get me wrong, because the way most preachers present themselves has left all most all their members to lose track of one who was crucified for our sins and gave us liberty.

So for you to be able to praise and worship God effectively, your attention and prayer request must be shifted away from you, so you can direct all your praise to Christ alone because that is why we are created.

The way you worship God will reveal how you love and reverence Him. We are here on earth to appreciate all the good work of Christ, so our praising and worshipping God should be out of pure thanksgiving and exhorting Him for who he is.

Do you know that when we praise and worship Christ, we’re supposed to be drawn nearer to him? This is because, when we worship Him in truth and spirit, without having any special agenda, or request, we are welcoming His presence into our lives and midst. Psalm 22:3

Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.

I hope you understand that praise and worship are not all about us, what we want or who we are. Praise and worship are equally not about who we want God to kill or destroy because He is not a killer non a destroyer. God is a lovely father who wants everyone to have salvation by confessing Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in all.

When you worship and praise God correctly, things will begin to change and take shape both spiritually and physically.

When God is praised and worshipped in the right way, there is no reason for lives and attitudes not to change.  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17

Praise God in the right way today and watch how your life will be transformed.
