The devil uses fear against his victims to destabilize them from achieving their goals.
His weapon is fear. When you allow fear to overcome you, it will not only block your vision but will as well disorganize your thoughts.
Fear of the unknown has crippled lots of people. It can be fear of the past hurts and disappointments or afraid of what people will say and how they will react to that dream of yours. The devil is a roaring lion looking for where to lunch his deadly weapon of fear. One of his plans is to scare you away from your God-given purpose
So never allow the devil to win the battle. That is why you need to have a secret weapon against the enemy, and that is FAITH. When your faith is in the Word of God, and you are confident in who He is in your life, there will never be any battle you cannot win.
In the book of 1 Samuel, when David was told about Goliath, he was not scared. He was not afraid of how dangerous he was and how he has never lost any battle. He was not moved by the fact that Goliath has never lost any battle since his youth. David never allows all those stories he heard to disorganize him. Instead, David boosted in the power of God. He told the people how powerful God is and how He has fought for him so many times.
1 Samuel 17:34-37 But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it, and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it, and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.
When you learn to go in the strength of God and have faith in the death, burial, and restoration of Christ, no battle you can not win through the power of God.
Let your faith be rooted in the Word of God, and no one can stand to defeat you.
