There’re so many times God tries to keep us away from toxic relationships. Everything seems confusing and complicated. You might start to question yourself or even accuse yourself of the problem. But one thing you must know is that God sees the inner thoughts of men trying to destroy us and, He will intervene and take us out of that toxic relationship.

Here Are 5 Signs That Indicate God Is Protecting Your From Toxic Relationship

• One sign that God is protecting you from a toxic relationship is the person ends up moving away from you or God relocating you to a different location or country. This happened to me when I had my second child. The relationship was so toxic that God had to relocate me far from him. It was in that same season I got my resident permit and was transferred to a remote area when God worked quietly with me to rebuild my self-worth

• Another sign that God is protecting you from a toxic relationship is the person breaks up with you for no reason. You might not even see it coming, but God knows the plans he has for you, a plan of good and not of evil. He will do everything to cause unrest in the other person so they can move out of your life. I remember an incident where I was pregnant with my last child. The father woke up one day and said to me, that he is not willing to continue with me. I cried and begged, but to no avail. He left the country. I now understand why certain things happen. It is all God’s doing to see us live happily and not in sorrow. A new door was opened for me in the aspect of relationships. Today I am married to some who appreciatse and knows my worth.

•  Another sign that God is protecting you from a toxic relationship is God opens your eyes to see their dishonesty in them. The lies and unfaithfulness. You might not see it but God can show it to someone else. No matter how they try to cover their lies, God will make sure He exposes them and take them out of your life.

•  Another sign that God is protecting you from a toxic relationship is you never have peace with them. In this aspect, there will always be restlessness when around them. Though everything can look great from the outside. The person can be very well outspoken and handsome. When you see this sign, it will be the best time to quit that relationship. God is peace and peace he gives to us.

• Another sign that God is protecting you from a toxic relationship is God making your family members uncomfortable with them. This can vary. But at most times God shows your family things that are not right about your relationship. In my case my family saw it coming, even my friend saw it but because I was desperately looking for attention, I ended up in a toxic and bad relationship that almost killed me.

When you notice these signs, let God lead you and not lean on your own understanding. They’re signs that God is protecting you.
