Marriage is meant to be a peaceful union between two individuals who choose to come together in holy matrimony. Both partners must work hand in hand to ensure their marriage remains harmonious. However, when a woman is used and manipulated, problems arise.

Meeting a woman and promising to love, care for, and treat her well should be taken seriously. Unfortunately, some women are left with unplanned pregnancies and abandoned by partners who are not ready to become fathers. As a result, these women are left to care for their children on their own.

Often, these same fathers later complain to others that women are wicked, spreading lies that they are not allowed to see their children because of their mothers. Many women have gone out of their way to facilitate a relationship between their children and their fathers, only to be met with resistance.

Narcissistic individuals often search for women, professing love and care, but ultimately transforming those women into emotional slaves or, worse, victims of abuse. Tragically, some women lose their lives in these situations. For a narcissist, nothing is good unless it serves their interests.

Being in a relationship with a narcissist means constantly walking on eggshells. They will pick up any offense and use it against their partner while simultaneously playing the victim themselves. Narcissistic people tend to exit a relationship whenever confronted about their bad behavior. Because they are skilled at portraying themselves as victims, they often retreat only to later beg for forgiveness.

Marriage is meant to be enjoyed by both partners. However, if one is taken advantage of and suffers due to another’s immaturity, it may be time to reconsider the situation.

Do you want to live your life in fear?

Do you wish to lose your peace and sanity over someone who shows no willingness to change?

Would you prefer to appear married while constantly living in stress?

Do you choose to be beaten or cheated on?

Life should be lived in peace and happiness. If it becomes otherwise, it may be time for serious reflection.

To any woman who has experienced any of the situations described above, do not give up. Even though men may mock, laugh, and humiliate you, remember that God will never abandon you.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from all. He protects all their bones; not one of them is broken. [Psalm 34:18]
