There is a hidden blessing in that calling!
Are you worried about that calling? Are you afraid to move out of that comfort zone?
The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:1-3).
Has God been telling you to move out of that present situation, but you are worried about the outcome?
Whenever God asks you to move somewhere new or do something new, just as he told Abram, trust that He wants the best for you. Sometimes, it is scary not to know about the future, but I encourage you to draw strength from the word of God. ( Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Sometimes, everything can become so overwhelming that we allow our thoughts to overshadow the voice of God.
Becoming the person God called you to be requires time, discipline, perseverance, and patience.
I vividly remember when I had to leave my country. I was heavily pregnant. If it were to be my choice, I would rather stay back and manage my life as it was.
But the calling was so strong that even the man I thought loved me pushed me out.
I left behind my family, friends, career, and my son.
I did not even know anything about the country I was to go.
It was all like a dream to me. But if l look back now, I can boldly say that God orchestrated it all to bring me out of a toxic relationship into a land where I will become the best version of myself.
So when God laid it in your heart to move, do not hesitate. He told Abram to leave his native land to an unknown place. He obeyed and became the father of a great nation.
God fulfilled every promise made to him and even blessed him with a child in his old age.
Dear beloved. Take time to pray and ask God to give you the spirit of discernment so you can differentiate between God and your thoughts. Pray and listen to God to understand his plans for your life.
Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8).
If God is putting it in your heart to leave that toxic environment, believe him because he has a better plan for you. He has put everything together for your good, but He needs you to trust the process.
Make it a habit to ask God for guidance and follow his directions.
And when it becomes unclear, be bold to ask him where he wants you to go. Pray about it. His answers will give you clarification and peace.

Remain blessed.
