God carries us like a mother. It’s true! A child on its mother’s back doesn’t care if the journey is long. We are on God’s back in the journey of life. Where we find ourselves now is not the end of our world. God has given us great potential. We can choose to pursue our purposes in life with faith and courage.

There is no shortcut to success. It takes work, but it also takes faith, knowing that we are not alone but that God journeys with us to greatness and fulfillment. It’s up to us how we pursue our dreams. Complaining about life is not the best way to achieve our dreams. We can choose to aim higher and cultivate excellence in all we do. That is the opposite of mediocrity—settling for less.

We need positive energy to achieve our dreams. That is why it’s so important for us to let go of past hurts and to forgive. That will free up so much energy for doing good and aiming higher.

Think of how you can bring a smile to someone’s life every day. What about smiling at someone? Maybe hugging at least one person every day? Or just giving someone a pat of encouragement on the shoulder? A little gesture on our part can help make the world a better place for us all. God does the same to us because he holds us in the hollow of his hands. We are the world—God’s world!
